About Us

St Thomas the Apostle Finsbury Park is a Church of England (Anglican) parish church. We worship in a traditional yet informal way.

We are an inclusive and welcoming church. Our congregation is almost as diverse as you'll find locally: from many parts of the world and from a wide range of backgrounds, regardless of age, gender, race, disability or sexuality you are welcome in this house of God.

People at St Thomas' are committed to caring for the local area. We support many voluntary groups, as well as getting involved in neighbourhood festivals and campaigns. We believe in acting out God's love in a lively and practical way in north London.

Children are at the heart of our congregation and are made welcome in our services. We have links with St John's primary school, Highbury Vale.

Our life with one another is not just on Sundays. We hold regular groups and mid-week services, and we celebrate the great Christian festivals - whenever they fall. We're good at social events, to which all are welcome.
