St Mary The Boltons

Rooted in Faith - Open in Thought - Reaching out in Service

We seek to be an inclusive community of people who want to know God better, love one another more faithfully, and welcome all people regardless of age, ethnic or social background, sexual orientation or gender into the life of the church and the fellowship of Jesus. St Mary's PCC has voted to make available prayers of blessing for same sex couples, according to the House of Bishops' Pastoral Guidance and to use stand alone liturgies of blessing when they become available for use.

We are a Eucharist based church in the best central Anglican tradition. The church is open daily for private prayer, and morning and evening prayer are said at 8.30am and 5.30pm Monday - Friday.

Our Sunday services are 8am BCP Holy Communion and 10.30am Parish Eucharist. Sunday School takes place in the church hall on the first and third Sunday each month in term time.

There is a Parent and Toddler group on the first Wednesday of the month in Church, 10.30am - 12noon. A chance to connect with other local parents over tea/ coffee while babies make faces and friends.

On Fridays in term time, the Second Half Club meets for exercise classes. Come for Tea / Coffee from 10am, then join the classes from Open Age: 10.45 - 11.45am Pilates, 12noon Chair Exercises (classes cost £1).

Safeguarding

The parish of St Mary The Boltons is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of London’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
