The Easter Vigil in the Holy Night - the first Mass of Easter. The new fire is blessed from which is lit the Paschal Candle. After the sung proclamation (The Exsultet) the readings of the Vigil take place prior to the Mass. In place of the Creed, water is blessed along with the font, the Litany of the Saints is sung and we renew our baptismal promises.

St Dunstan's, Cranford

There has been a church on this site for over a thousand years and the Parish of Cranford has a rich and varied history. However the parish is not simply of historical interest; it is a living, diverse and developing Christian community. Worship is usually offered every day of the week apart from the Parish Priest's day off and all are welcome to join a friendly, welcoming and caring congregation. We pride ourselves on our worship which has a great sense of holiness and beauty at its heart but  is still accessible. Extra services are held for Solemnities and Feasts.

Whatever has brought you here, please be assured of our prayers.
