Over many years St Mary's has been a place where people have come, found refuge, friendship and met with God.
Today we describe St Mary's as being about 'Sanctuary'
Firstly a Sanctuary as a place where hurting people find refuge are cared for and loved. Secondly a Sanctuary as a place where we find it easy to meet with God. Thirdly we aim to become Sanctuary's for our families, workplaces, and communities as through us people find peace and experience the kindness of Jesus.
Our parish of St John the Baptist with St Mary the Virgin, Isleworth is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO).
