The artwork for the St Philip’s 2026 calendar, and other Pushkin merchandise, was commissioned by Shana Ontong. Shana is from South Africa, and found St Philip’s in June 2023 when on holiday in London.

“ After making a wrong turn, I happened upon St Philip's, and seeing it was an Anglican church, went in. A little cat came over to me and gave me enormous comfort. I later found out that this was Pushkin. I attended the service that Sunday and just felt at home; the message the Vicar, Pippa, delivered was heartwarming and beautiful. In January 2024, I unfortunately became paralysed with an autoimmune Syndrome (Miller Fisher Syndrome Triad) and became housebound. Receiving the St Philip's newsletters and sometimes dialling in to the zoomed services was a great comfort during that time. I have since made a full recovery, considered a ‘medical marvel’ but I personally call it a miracle and a second chance.”
