OUR CHURCH CAT

Meet Pushkin. He means business and he’s here, at St Philips Church, to do a job. His role is to make sure – absolutely sure – that there are no mice living on the premises.

He lives in the main church, but will patrol the building at night showing any mice the door – or the claw.

He is a working cat from farmyard stock, so while he likes people when he’s in the mood, he thinks that humans should only speak to cats when they’re spoken to. He may scratch if you offend him. But if you have good cat skills, he could be pleased to meet you.
