'Brutal architecture' is a style of the nineteen seventies. However, the exhibition focuses on the visual elements of a visionary design of a housing estate, of which center was community and human connectedness. Visionary architectures in the late 1960s, envisioned Grahame Park Estate, with two churches, a community center, a library, shops, and lots of playfields for children. A bygone age? What can we learn today from this designed which, sadly, is doomed to go with the newest wave of regeneration. From church perspective, it is a good way of looking back what mission meant in the past, and in the present in an urban setting.
