About Us

St Mary's is the ancient parish church of Hendon, and Christians have been worshipping here since 959AD.

Today it is a thriving church in this busy North London suburb.

Our main act of worship on Sunday is the Eucharist, which is celebrated at 9.30am, with Refreshments after the Service.

We also hold Choral Evensong every Sunday at 6.30pm.

In term time, there is a 'Kid's Cafe' (an after School Club in the Church) on Tuesdays.

An Active Adult  and Junior Choir rehearse on Tuesday Evenings, a Bell Ringers Group practice on Wednesday evenings, and multiple rotas of volunteers keep the church functioning and offer a warm welcome to visitors and newcomers.
