Maundy Thursday Commemoration of the Lord's Supper with Footwashing

Maundy Thursday marks the day of the Last Supper. Join us for our evening service of Holy Communion with Footwashing (or handwashing for those who wish to take part) culminating in the stripping of the altars in preparation for Good Friday. The church remains open until 10.00 pm - please leave quietly when you are ready.

Good Friday Stations of the Cross, Meditations and Solemn Liturgy

The Good Friday three hour service begins by reflecting on the Stations of the Cross. In the second hour (from around 1.00 pm) we hear meditations for Good Friday with music and prayer. In the final hour (from around 2.00 pm), we participate in the Solemn Liturgy for Good Friday culminating in the reception of Holy Communion. You're welcome to join us for either the whole or part of the service.

Easter Eve Fire, Vigil and Eucharist

Join us for the most spectacular night of the year as we begin our Easter celebrations. The new paschal candle is lit from the fire. We keep vigil as we listen to readings that point to the light of Christ's resurrection before we sing with joy our first hymns and alleluias of Easter. The service includes the renewal of baptismal vows before we take part in the first eucharist of Easter.
