Church of England Diocese of London St. Alphege, Edmonton

St Alphege Edmonton

Following the move to 'Plan B' in response to the Omicron variant, masks are once more compulsory when attending places of worship. We continue to take a careful and cautious approach and thus:

>> We are still taking contact details of those attending mass, and asking you to sanitise your hands as you enter the church.

>> We will continue to sing the liturgy, and some hymns as well, but those attending should spread out around the church as far as possible to prevent any close contact.

>> The recently introduced after mass tea, coffee, etc., on Sundays will continue, but please do not crowd around one another, and observe social distancing whilst queuing.

>> Communion will continue to be administered in one kind only, with sanitising of hands before and afterwards. We will reconsider this in the spring next year.

In addition to the regular weekday masses on Wednesday evening and Friday midday, there will be other masses from time to time to mark special occasions. The next special midweek mass will be on TUESDAY 25th JANUARY 2022 for the FEAST of the CONVERSION of St PAUL, APOSTLE. The mass is at 1930.

Our online presence through the following will continue as before:

** Every morning some of us are meeting on Microsoft Teams to say the Office of Readings and Morning Prayer. It happens at 0715, and if you'd like to join in live, let me know via the 'Get in touch' page, and I'll send you a link to join the group. The recording is then posted here.

** A virtual pew sheet, containing the collects, readings, etc for the day will be posted here.
