Church of England Diocese of London St. John the Baptist and St. Luke the Evangelist, Clay Hill

St John

Welcome to St John's Clay Hill.  We're glad you've found us.  We're a community of Christians on the edge of Enfield seeking to grow in the knowledge and love of Christ.  Have a look around, or even better, come and see us some time.

We are currently having some works done on our ceiling, and so all of our services are currently taking place in St Luke's, our other church building, on Phipps Hatch Lane.  If you are considering attending any of our services, please head over to our website to find out details about how things are going to work:

We are also continuing to share worship online for those unable to come to our churches, details of which you can find here:

The parish of Clay Hill is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). The Diocese of London’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

Holy Communion @ St Luke's

Every Sunday at 10:30 a.m. for 40m

St Luke
Browning Road, Enfield
United Kingdom

This is our main weekly service at St Luke's each week. We gather on Sunday mornings to worship God, pray for the world, listen to the scriptures, hear relevant and inspiring teaching, and finally share the meal of Holy Communion, in which we receive bread and wine which become for us the body and blood of Jesus. All are welcome!

The service may feel a bit unusual for a while whilst we gather amidst the restrictions imposed by the government in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please be particularly aware of the reduced capacity in both church buildings. For details on how things will work, please visit our website at

We also meet at St John's at 9.00am.
