Getting here

The bell calling to worship is a familiar sound in noisy Tottenham. Ever since the streets were first laid out, the doors of St Mary's have been open for anyone to come inside. On Sundays our large and vibrant congregation gathers in prayer and praise and intercession. This is one of the most diverse areas of London and our congregation reflects that diversity: many nations and cultures brought together in shared witness to the catholic faith.

At the quieter times during the week people come to seek Jesus and bring to Him their needs and those of the world. There are opportunities to join in social activities for old and young, or discover more through a Bible Study, special event, Devotional Society, or a pilgrimage. Whether you are mature in faith or just looking, the bell, and the people who pull the rope, have a welcome for everyone.

For those interested in the architecture, the largely unaltered building is a gem of its kind. By JEK Cutts ("my most interesting commission") it has fine stained glass and wall paintings by Heaton Butler and Bayne. The church is home to a grade 1 listed organ by Hill with Barker Lever Action.
