A moving Father’s Day reflection on the bittersweet nature of family, exploring the story of Hagar and Ishmael’s rescue in the desert (Genesis 21). Drawing on a recent visit to a Synagogue of Sanctuary, this sermon challenges us to act as God's angels today - bringing hope and comforting water to the lonely and abandoned in our own world.

A very warm welcome to Church of the Ascension. We are a warm and family-friendly church community here in the Wembley Park area and would love you to come and worship with us. 

Our main Sunday service is at 10am. We also have a regular service at 10am on Wednesdays. 

My formal Licensing as Vicar was on Sunday 19 April this yearso I am very new in the role and keen to meet people.
