Our summer concert presents lieder by Robert and Clara Schumann alongside vocal quartets by their close friend Johannes Brahms.
This formidable trio were responsible for some of the most poignant musical settings of poetry in the 19th-century.
We will perform a newly re-imagined choral version of Liederkreis op.39, written the year Clara and Robert were married, alongside other touching German lieder in intimate vocal settings.
