About Us

Emmanuel is a large evangelical Church of England church in the heart of Old Northwood and has been serving the local community since the 1890s. We have four services each Sunday and a range of mid-week activities for all ages. We are a church of missional disciples seeking to love God and love each other; influencing our community, city, nation and world with the love of Jesus that we might see His Kingdom come. We are also seeking to:

GROW DEEPER... in our relationship with God and in our relationship with each other. Maintaining the priorities of worship, prayer, bible teaching and openness to the work of the Holy Spirit.

GROW YOUNGER... facing the challenge of declining attendance of under 40s in the UK we are committed to placing a special emphasis on trying to reach children, young people and their families.

and GROW WIDER... in mission and evangelism. Growing as missional disciples taking the good news of Jesus and his love and kingdom wherever we go throughout the week. Growing in our outreach as a church seeking to love and serve the people who live and work in Northwood.
