Preparation for Confirmation Classes

Occurring
Every Monday at for 1 hour
Venue
St Andrew's Church
Address
Hillingdon Road Uxbridge, UB10 0AE, United Kingdom

These Preparation for Confirmation Classes are for Young People (Year 8 upwards).

Confirmation is a special ceremony in many Christian
traditions where you make a personal commitment to your
faith. It’s like saying, “This is what I believe, and I’m ready to
take it seriously.” Think of it as stepping into a deeper
relationship with God, your church, and your community.

The classes will run on Monday before the youth group, from 5:45pm to 6:45pm, at St Andrew's church hall, and we’ll have dinner together afterwards—always a great chance to catch up and connect!

Safeguarding

Our parish of Uxbridge : St Andrew is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of London’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO, Liz Wakling, 07758 780748, [email protected] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor, Angela Colman, 0207 932 1224, [email protected]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
