Good Friday Walk of Witness and Passion Drama

Occurring
for 1 hour
Venue
The Salvation Army
Address
The Salvation Army, 16b Cowley Road, Uxbridge, UB8 2LT, United Kingdom

We gather at The Salvation Army to walk through Uxbridge together. We do this to remember that Jesus had to carry his cross publicly through the streets of Jerusalem. It is a public statement of faith, a retelling of the crucifixion story and a reminder of Jesus’ words ‘Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.'

We will meet at The Salvation Army, 16b Cowley Road, Uxbridge UB8 2LT, to start at 11am. There will be stops in Uxbridge town centre and the Passion drama will take place in front of St Margaret’s. Afterwards there will be hot crossed buns inside St Margaret’s.

Our parish of Uxbridge : St Margaret is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. Our Diocese of London’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO, Barry Hancock, 07557 235988, [email protected] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor, Angela Colman, 0207 932 1224, [email protected].
