St James is a vibrant, culturally diverse, parish at the heart of life in Paddington.
We are a church which teaches and proclaims the fullness of Catholic faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
Our principle act of worship is the 1030 Parish Mass, celebrated with full ceremonial, choir, organ, solemnity and beauty, warmth and welcome.
Every fortnight there is a Family Mass at 1215.
And every Sunday, we end our Sabbath observance with Evensong and Benediction.
Mass is celebrated every day. See poster for details of times of services. During DECEMBER, our weekday masses are in the morning only, at the hour of 9.30am.

Join us at the Parish Church of Paddington for High Mass at 10.30am on the Third Sunday of Advent. We welcome our bishop Jonathan to confirm candidates and rededicate our Te Deum window during the Mass. All are welcome for a parish lunch which follows afterwards.
