Getting here

St Saviour’s is a striking, soaring 1976 brick church adjacent to Warwick Avenue underground station. It was designed by Michael Biscoe to replace a vast gothic structure of Kentish ragstone, demolished in 1974.

There is a professional choir, and the congregation is encouraged to take a full part in the Mass through reading lections, leading prayers and serving at the altar.

The Mass is extremely popular with young families, as well as single people and older members of the Parish. There is a superb Sunday School at both Sunday Masses.

The style of worship is relaxed within a modern Catholic liturgy. Baptised Christians of all denominations are welcome to receive Holy Communion at the Mass.

Following Mass there is an opportunity for worshippers to meet each other over refreshments.
