St James, Gorton
A friendly church in the heart of Gorton. All are welcome, whether you have a strong Christian faith, or are just starting to explore what faith in Jesus Christ might mean for you.
St James is now open for private prayer on Tuesdays 11am - 1pm. We welcome you to have a quiet time of prayer or reflection in your beautiful church. Please do come and spend a couple of minutes, or a couple of hours in the peace and quiet of your beautiful church.
Update: Sunday Worship - Sunday 19th July we will have a service of Morning Prayer at 10.15am for about 1 hour. All are welcome.
If there is anything we can do for you practically, please do get in touch with the Rector, Revd Craig Smith, via the contact page. We are happy to help with practical things such as picking up shopping, or posting letters for people who are self-isolating. We are also happy to make phone calls to encourage those who live alone and may feel anxious or afraid. Please do get in touch if you or someone you know would appreciate some help.
