Lent 2026 begins with a Team Service of Holy Communion at 7.30pm on Ash Wednesday, 18th February 2026. Please join us at Eccles Parish Church for this service which will include the opportunity for "Ashing", the cross is marked on our foreheads using the ashes of burnt palm crosses.

Friday, 6th March 2026 has been designated as a World Day Of Prayer. There are services at 1:30pm at Eccles Congregational Church on Wellington Road in Eccles M30 9AL and at 7pm at Monton Methodist Church M30 9JG.
The service this year has been designed by women in Nigeria on the theme of "I will give you rest: Come" ~ all are welcome!
