Church of England Diocese of Manchester St. Mary, Heaton Reddish

About Us

St Mary's Parish Church was built in 1864 built in the traditional church style and is a village Parish Church in the urban suburb of South Reddish. It is part of the Heaton's Team.

We are welcoming, inclusive church.

On three Sundays of the month we celebrate Holy Communion.

One Sunday of the month is a lay led service of the word. ( Please see Services and events for more details).

The Second Sunday of the month is a Family Service where children and young people are actively encouraged to participate if they feel they would like to.

The access to the halls and to the church car park is off St. Mary's drive which takes you behind the church. If you are in a wheelchair or require assistance with access you will then need to leave the car park back onto St. Marys drive and up onto Reddish Road to enter the church under the lytch-gate and follow the path round. The entrance to the church is at the side of the church to the rear.

The entrance is accessible with a ramp.

There is an accessible toilet in the church building.

Following the service we meet for refreshments in the church halls which are adjacent to the church.

he halls have fully accessible access and a disabled toilet. Baby changing facilities are also available.

If you require assistance or would like a gluten free wafer please contact Revd. Helen or Revd. Liz prior to the service so we can accommodate your needs, which we will be happy to do.
