A Rocha UK is a Christian charity working for the protection and restoration of the natural world. They have developed an award scheme for churches in England and Wales who want to demonstrate that the gospel is good news for God’s earth.

By using the A Rocha supporting resources and completing their survey looking at how caring for God’s world is expressed in our worship and teaching; in how we look after our buildings and land; in how we engage with our local community and in global campaigns and in the personal lifestyles of our congregation.

The actions we have taken as a Church counted towards the prestigious Eco Church Award at Bronze - we can now start working towards Silver or Gold level and plan future initiatives as a congregation.
