Christmas Services in Moss Side & Whalley Range Come and celebrate Christmas with us across our family of churches – St James’, St Edmund’s, St Margaret’s and Grace Community Urdu Church. Everyone is welcome, whether you come every week or are just exploring faith this Christmas. Sunday 14th December – A Day of Carols & Celebration Nativity Service 10.30am · St Edmund’s Church, M16 8EZ A joyful, all-age Christmas Nativity as we retell the story of Jesus’ birth as part of a fun intergenerational service with lots of participation from children and young people. Churches Together Carols in the Park 12.30pm · Bembe Café, Alexandra Park Join local churches singing carols together in the park – a festive celebration of hope and light in our community.  Grace Community Urdu Church Carols & Christmas Dinner From 2.00pm · St Edmund’s Church, M16 8EZ Urdu-language carol service led by Grace Community Urdu Church, followed by a festive Christmas meal. All welcome, whether you speak Urdu or not. You must contact us on 07769 644191 or email [email protected] if you wish to attend the meal.  Café Church Christmas Special (Bring & Share) 4.30pm · St James’ Church, M14 4TH Relaxed café-style worship with carols, reflection and activities for all ages. If you can, bring a plate of food to share as we celebrate Christmas together around the table. Sunday 21st December – Communion & Carols Morning Communion & Carols 10.30am · St Edmund’s M16 8EZ & St James’ M14 4TH Holy Communion with well-loved carols and a Christmas message of hope. Services at both churches – choose the one closest to you. Joint Candlelit Carol Service 6.00pm · St Edmund’s Church, M16 8EZ Our benefice-wide traditional carol service by candlelight, with readings and carols. A beautiful way to pause and prepare for Christmas. Christmas Eve – Waiting in Wonder Grace Community Urdu Church – Christmas Eve Celebration From 9.00pm · St Edmund’s Church, M16 8EZ Late-evening worship and thanksgiving as Grace Community Urdu Church celebrates the coming of Christ. Midnight Candlelit Carols & First Communion of Christmas 11.00pm · St Margaret’s Church, M16 8AE A quiet, reflective service by candlelight as we welcome Christmas. Includes the First Communion of Christmas. Christmas Day – Christ is Born! Christmas Day Celebrations 10.30am · St James’ M14 4TH & St Edmund’s M16 8EZ Joyful Christmas morning services for all ages as we celebrate the birth of Jesus with carols, communion and a warm welcome. Grace Community Urdu Church Christmas Mass 4.00pm · St Edmund’s Church, M16 8EZ Christmas Day Mass led by Grace Community Urdu Church. All are welcome to join this vibrant celebration.
