All Shall Be Well All shall be well? It often doesn't feel like it. Pandemics, price rises and wars. But we've got a corker of a reading this week which we're basing out teaching on. We're looking again at Revelation and John's vision of hope and healing for the world. Have a read here: Revelation 21:10, 21:22-22:5 John sees a future where God comes and lives on earth in a restored creation...with us! A world without darkness and sin. A world so wonderful, that we don't need the sun or the moon because we'll be living in the radiance of God's glory. But we don't have to wait. As Christians we can bring glimpses of heaven into our lives and communities by bringing hope, healing and the good news of the gospel. Exciting stuff! If you want to explore more before we meet, have a look at the Roots At Home material here: Roots At Home APCMs I was browsing through the church calendar (I must get out more!) and I noticed that we have our last Mission Unit APCM of 2022 taking place on Tuesday. And I wanted to say a big 'THANK YOU' to all those who wrote reports, turned up to meetings, volunteered as wardens or PCC members etc... at all of our 6 churches. We may have people in funny collars and outfits leading at the front on Sundays, but this is your mission unit and it's great to see so many taking and interest in furthering God's kingdom on earth. New Discipleship Group In June we are beginning a new, mid-week, daytime group for those keen to explore and understand the basics of Christianity. We'll be asking 'Who Is Jesus?', 'How and why should I read the Bible' and much more. For more details, speak to Jez. Next Week As usual, there is plenty going on in the Mission Unit. All are welcome at all events. You can even go to something at another church! See you on Sunday! Jez
