Church of England Diocese of Manchester Lower Broughton

These events occur regularly throughout the calendar year.

Saturday Mass

Every Saturday at 10 a.m. for 30m

Ascension Road

A good end to the week - especially for those of us still working and who cannot otherwise attend services during the week.

Tea and coffee are usually on offer after the Mass, though this is not guaranteed!

We have recently moved the time of this service from 10:30am to 10:00am because it was agreed this suited just about everybody!

Sunday Parish Mass

Every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. for 1hr

Ascension Road

Full sung Mass (setting: Dom Gregory Murray) with incense and the Angelus (also sung).

Everyone is warmly welcome to our principal weekly service.

If you do not wish to receive communion, but wish to be blessed, please come to the altar rail carring your service book - or cross your arms over your chest when the priest approaches you.

After the Mass everyone is more than cordially invited to join us for tea, coffee and whatever nibbles have been provided! We're a friendly bunch... really!!

Refreshments Incense

Monday Mass

Every Monday at 10:30 a.m. for 30m

Ascension Road

What better way to start the working week if you can? This is a said Mass which ends with the Angelus. People are most welcome to join us in the Lady Chapel for this service. The regulars often enjoy tea and coffee afterwards and would be thrilled if you joined them!

Wednesday Mass & Coffee Morning

Every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. for 40m

St Pauls Paddington
Paddington Close

The midweek Mass, said in the Lady Chapel is, after the Sunday Mass, probably the most popular. It is the only Mass during the week which will regularly include a hymn, though this is sung without musical accompanyment.

After the Mass there is an informal coffee morning with tea, coffee, toast, biscuits and chat!
