St Mary the Virgin

St. Mary the Virgin, Davyhulme, is a beautiful Grade 2 Listed building housing a thriving mainstream Anglican Church in the leafy suburbs of Manchester close to the Trafford Centre. Although we are an Anglican Church our doors are open to everyone, regardless of religious persuasion and all are most welcome to attend our services at 10 a.m. on a Wednesday (said Eucharist) and a Sunday ( all age Eucharist with live music and hymns. We are a Dementia Friendly Church.We have wheel chair access and a loop system.There is something of interest for everyone, and St. Mary’s has many families within it’s congregation with children and parents participating together.

We are committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer The Diocese of Manchester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. The Eucharist will be celebrated in church at 10am on Sunday and 10am on Wednesday, and all are welcome.Booking is not required but will help us in preparing the Eucharist if you are able to book particularly on a Sunday. This can be done by phoning 07910153846 before 6pm on a Friday evening before the Sunday you wish to attend.
