St. Mary the Virgin, Davyhulme, is a beautiful Grade 2 Listed building housing a thriving mainstream Anglican Church in the leafy suburbs of Manchester close to the Trafford Centre. Although we are an Anglican Church our doors are open to everyone, regardless of religious persuasion and all are most welcome to attend our services at 10 a.m. on a Wednesday (said Eucharist) and a Sunday ( all age Eucharist with live music and hymns). We are a Dementia Friendly Church. We have wheel chair access and a loop system. There is something of interest for everyone, and St. Mary’s has many families within it’s congregation with children and parents participating together.
We are committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer The Diocese of Manchester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
