St Mary the Virgin

Welcome to St. Mary's website! St. Mary's is a welcoming and friendly church which seeks to share the love of Jesus as a community and within the wider community of Davyhulme and Urmston. In January of 2025 we are running a 10 week course called 'Being With' which is for those wanting to explore the Christian faith or for those returning to Church after a time away. You would be very welcome to join this course. If you would like to know more, please get in touch either by phone (0161 748 2210) or email ([email protected]).

We are committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer The Diocese of Manchester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
