Dear Friends at Healey and Hamer and Belfield,

I was overwhelmed by yesterday morning's Service celebrating my 50 years in ordained ministry. I could feel the love and the friendship in the church and touched that the church looked so full despite Covid restrictions. Thank you for the cards as well. So many of them. When I got the chance to open them, I discovered the Bridgewater Hall voucher from you all. Thank you. Apart from wanting to sing hymns, my love of music was not mentioned yesterday - but as soon the Hall is opened again, I shall be there on two Thursdays a month listening to the wonderful Halle Orchestra and your gift will pay for two season tickets. Thank you too for Kathryn's rose. She is very proud of her garden.

I look forward to continuing my Ministry with you. Since I retired you have made Kathryn and me so welcome. Thank you. Yesterday will be an enduring memory.
