The joint benefice service on Sunday 31st August will be a youth led service at St Michael's, Bamford.
School bags will be blessed during the service and everyone is very welcome to join us for this joyful celebration as we look forward to a new school year.
The service will be followed (if weather allows) by a bring and share barbecue.

Heritage Open Days 2025
Everyone is welcome to join us for a circular walk starting at 10am on Saturday 20th September from St Paul's church in Norden.
We will walk down the Naden valley to St James' church in Ashworth. Our route then takes us through the country lanes to St Michael's church Bamford, returning to St Paul's via more local by-ways and side streets, allowing us to thoroughly explore the rich architectural heritage of our area.
The route is fairly flat, just over 5 miles, on footpaths, tracks and roads. Good footwear and appropriate clothing is needed.
Information and displays about the buildings (and a brew of course) will be available at each church.
When we get back to St Paul's, light refreshments will be available from our servery and we will be entertained by St Michael's school choir at 2pm.
During the walk there will be a Treasure Hunt style investigation of the local industrial and architectural heritage led by our local historian.

Followed at 11am by an Act of Remembrance at Norden War Memorial.

Our traditional Christmas Fair, where you'll find Santa (of course!), loads of yummy homemade cakes and preserves, seasonal plants, good as new toys, handcrafts, tombolas and competitions, and much more. Refreshments are available in the Choir cafe.

Advent Sunday this year falls on a Fifth Sunday, and the Benefice service will be held at St Paul's

Our Candlelit Carol Service - one of the most popular services of the year.
Come along and enjoy some poems and Bible readings that light up the festive season, and get stuck in to singing some of your favourite Carols!
Mulled wine and mince pies will be served BEFORE the service, so join us from 6pm for some seasonal cheer!

St Paul's and St Michael's take turns to host our regular Fifth Sunday service when the congregations from all the churches in our Benefice come together for worship and fellowship. Please join us!
The service will usually be followed by a Bring & Share lunch.

This Fifth Sunday service alternates between St Pauls and St Michaels - please check our website and pewsheets for details
