Worship is an alternate pattern of Eucharist and Lay -led sunday services in the parish between St George's and Christ Church.
There is a lay led service of on Werneth Low meeting at 5:45am on Sunday 5th April Easter Day followed by breakfast at Christ Church Denton

St Georges will have activities for the children on Easter Sunday 5th April from 11:30-13:30pm
Due to the current circumstances, our foodbank is experiencing unprecedented demand. Stocks of food are low and we cannot supplement them by buying from stores as we are restricted to amount (rightly so), and the foods we rely on are just not there. We need most staple foods but in particular: Long life Milk, Tinned pies, Tinned or packet custard, Jars of pasta and curry sauce, fresh vegetables and fruit, Cordial, and Tinned spaghetti.

Rock Choir concert on Sunday, 12th April at St Georges from 7:30pm. £7 per ticket. Bar will be open. All proceeds are going towards the roof appeal at St Georges. To register please email [email protected] you will then be sent a link to pay via sum up.

The Group meet on the 4th Thursday of each month between 1-3pm. New members welcome.
St George’s Fun Day on 26th April. Parade leaves St George’s at 12 noon and heads along Windsor Road to Thornley Park where there are games and activities.
On the last Tuesday of the month.
From 11 am. We meet outside at 10:50am approx.
