The Church has a number of different spaces that are available to groups such as those wishing to have an "Away Day" in the peace & quiet of a countryside retreat for reflection. Training courses or other day time activities can also be held successfully. The church has free Wi-Fi and a range of audio-visual equipment.
The spaces for use are:
The upper room.
The upper room is accessed via a staircase with handrail, and can comfortably seat up to 30 people. The style of seating can be a large table for meetings or training courses. Or for more informal gatherings a number of small tables can be arranged café style. A flip chart is available.
The entrance foyer.
The entrance foyer is suitable for small meetings/gatherings and similar to the room upstairs a large table can be used or a number of small tables arranged café style.
The Nave
The Nave of the church has a seating capacity of between 90 – 100. Audio-visual equipment is available for use for displaying informative material when required. Alternatively, the space can be set out with a number of tables café style to seat approximately 80 people according to the needs of the organisation.
The kitchen.
We have a fully fitted kitchen comprising an electric oven and hob, microwave, kettle and toaster and sink. There is also an emersion heater for hot water and a large hot water heater when large numbers of hot drinks are required. The serving hatch opens onto the foyer area.
In addition, there is a fully accessible toilet complete with baby changing facilities.
The surrounding "Church Wood" (when weather permits) is also available for exploration. The wider surrounding rural area is ideal for walks and time out and reflection.
A donation of £60 per day, pro-rata, will be appreciated, to cover costs.
Users of our church can arrange to have lunch at the Church Inn either a pre-arranged buffet in a private room or a full range of bar snacks or a la carte menu in the restaurant or a plate of sandwiches.
