St Philip's

About Us

St Philip’s is a small church with a strong family ethos and a growing congregation which is attracting families with young children.

It is the smallest parish in the diocese and is situated in the valley bottom on the Ramsbottom to Edenfield road. The parish was created in 1927 from parts of the parishes of St John’s and Edenfield.

We hold a service of Holy Communion on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month at 9.15am, which is a fairly traditional family service, followed by coffee and friendly chat should you wish to join us.

Our new hard working warden Sarah Bennett, is always pleased to help, should you need any information regarding St Philip’s.
