March 2021 update:
Public Worship in the Astley, Tyldesley and Mosley Common Team
Following a joint meeting of the three PCCs in the ATMC team convened by the Team Rector, which agreed that in-person worship in our team would commence on Palm Sunday 28 March, the Local Ministry Team has met to consider our local roadmap out of Lockdown. The approach that will be taken will be cautious in line with the national lifting of lockdown restrictions. As we begin to reopen our church buildings for public worship it is imperative that we continue to keep everyone as safe as possible. You are therefore asked to support us by noting:
· Places at all services will still be limited and attendance must be booked in advance via the Team Clerk [see notices for dates and contact details];
· To comply with Government guidelines for ‘Track & Trace’ we are required to ask attendees for a contact name & number [noted at time of booking] : this will be retained for 21 days;
· Face coverings are compulsory whilst in church;
· Social distancing must still be observed: bubbles and family groups [not exceeding 6] will be accommodated and seating will be allocated appropriately.
Yours in Christ
