Work has been going on over the last few months to make a Prayer Garden in the Burial Ground. A new bench has been installed and a planting programme is under way. The space will provide a peaceful setting for anybody wishing to sit and reflect.A short service of dedication will take place on August 31st immediately after the Sunday Eucharist - about 11:00am
We are pleased to announce that the Rev Jason Lawton, currently curate at St Peter's Bury, has been appointed to be the next Vicar of our parish of Hillock & Unsworth.A date for his licensing and induction has not yet been arranged.We warmly welcome Jason and his family to our parish and ask everybody to pray for his ministry amongst us.
