On Fridays two events happen almost every week. They are both Team events, taking place in the church of St Thomas and St John. All are welcome even if you are not a church member. At 10:15am we gather for a brew. At 10:30am we hold a Bible Study for one hour. It is known as Friday Friends. We typically study a book of the Bible. At Advent, approaching Christmas, and in Lent, the weeks before Easter, we pursue a themed study for a few weeks.At noon, we gather for Intercessions. These are informal prayers for the world, our community, the Church and those in need. For thirty minutes we are led in different styles each week. At 12:30pm, those who wish stay on and eat together their packed lunches - drinks provided.
