About Us

St Nicholas has been here since 1511. Over the generations it has been a place where people have laughed and cried, prayed and worshipped, and found the love and peace of God.

We are one of the churches in the Rossendale Team; our worship is modern catholic, reflective and spiritual but above all, happy and welcoming.

Our service on a Sunday is usually a service of Holy Communion with the occasional service of Morning Prayer led by a member of our congregation.

The Sacrament is reserved in the church and most major Saint days are celebrated with the Eucharist, but please check our 'what's on' for the days and times.

The service on a Wednesday morning is from the Book of Common Prayer and includes Holy Communion.

Everyone is made to feel welcome here and everyone matters.

Sunday Eucharist is at 10.30 am.
Wednesday Morning Prayer at 10.15 am with Eucharist
