PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO GOVERNMENT RESTRICTIONS, OUR SERVICES OF PUBLIC WORSHIP ARE CURRENTLY SUSPENDED.
Given the current situation, and after extensive consultation across the Turton Moorland Team, it has been decided that we will pause Public Worship until we are better able to consider all eventualities. Therefore there will be NO services in any of the Team Churches this coming Sunday 3 January, nor mid-week.
Both the Worship-at-Home and the online services will still be available.
Our reasoning for this is:-
1) the very fast-rising numbers of affected people
2) the growing crisis in the NHS
3) the clear instruction for those in Tier 4 to stay at home as much as possible
4) the recognition that our Risk Assessments cannot take proper account of the factors which make the new strain of virus more transmissible
We will review things and provide an update next week.
We are sorry if this disappoints some people but we believe that in the current circumstances it is the best and right decision.
