Our choir is delighted to be able to offer a range of Choral Evensong services.

In 2026 we have continued with our pattern of finding a theme each of our evensong services, we hope you will find something that you will enjoy!

The service of Evensong offers a chance to meditate and reflect on the music and readings and is designed to bring the day to a peaceful close. As we sing Evensong once a month, we like to make it even more special by having a theme in which to bring all of the parts of the service together.

2026 Evensong services for the first half of the year:

25th January-Choral evensong for the feast of the Conversion of St Paul, including William Crotch's Lo! Star-like Chiefs

22nd February-Choral evensong for Lent, including music by Thomas Morley, J.S. Bach and others

29th March- PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE OF SUNDAY in place of Choral evensong we will be holding a service of readings, hymns and anthems for Palm Sunday

26th April

24th May

28th June
