Sung Requiem Eucharist for All Souls’ Day

Occurring
for 1 hour, 30 mins
Venue
Newcastle Cathedral
Address
St Nicholas Square Newcastle, NE1 1PF, United Kingdom

At this Requiem Eucharist for All Souls’ Day, we remember with thanksgiving those we have loved and lost. Following All Saints’ Day, which honours all the saints, All Souls’ Day allows us to commemorate those we have known personally – those who gave us life, guided us, or nurtured us in faith.

The liturgy reflects the deep mystery of God’s mercy – both awe-inspiring and life-giving – as we bring the names of the departed before God in prayer. These names will be read aloud during a time of remembrance.
