Choral Requiem Eucharist for All Souls’ Day

Occurring
for 1 hour
Venue
Newcastle Cathedral
Address
St Nicholas Square Newcastle, NE1 1PF, United Kingdom

At this Requiem Eucharist for All Souls’ Day, we remember with thanksgiving those we have loved and lost. Following All Saints’ Day, which honours all the saints, All Souls’ Day allows us to commemorate those we have known personally – those who gave us life, guided us, or nurtured us in faith.

The liturgy reflects the deep mystery of God’s mercy – both awe-inspiring and life-giving.

As part of the service, we will read the names of the faithful departed. If you would like a name read out, please email [email protected] by 12 noon on Friday 30 October with the subject line 'All Souls’ Day Remembrance'.

This service will also be live-streamed via our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@NewcastleCathedral

Clergy and volunteers serve the community with warmth and dedication, supporting all who seek faith or fellowship. Visitors can explore historic architecture, enjoy a peaceful atmosphere, and take part in events celebrating creativity, justice and hope. All are warmly invited to join in worship and community life.
