About Us

St. Andrew’s Church is a small church which was built in the 1860s. It was formerly the mission church of St. Peter’s Church, West Sleekburn (Cambois Parish Church) until it closed in the 1990s. It has an important war memorial, a portacabin church hall and a garden. St. Andrew’s has a very small but extremely friendly congregation and is faithfully maintained. Services are held on Sunday and Wednesday morning and the growing Mothers’ Union meets once a month. St. Andrew’s has close links with Cambois Primary School, which is close by, and the children regularly come into church to celebrate important festivals.
