St Andrew, Cambois

St Andrew's is one of three churches in the Bedlington Benefice; St Cuthbert's, Bedlington, St Andrew's, Cambois and St John's, Sleekburn.

We share our services with St John's with the 2nd & 3rd Sundays at St Andrew's and 1st & 4th at St John's.  The 5th Sunday is a full benefice service with alternating church as hosting the service.  Our midweek Wednesday service is a relaxed friendly service followed by refreshments, and when the weather is nice we sit out in the church garden and grounds.

All our welcome to our services which are followed by refreshments and chat.

Our monthly coffee mornings, on the last Saturday of the month, are open to all. We offer a friendly, warm space for everyone.

Our church grounds have seats and are open for all to come and rest awhile amongst the sounds of nature and the wildlife around.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Cambois is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Newcastle’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
