Dear Parishioners,
We hope this message finds you well and in good spirit.
As part of our ongoing commitment to enhance the worship experience and community life at Saint Benedict’s, we wanted to share with you a proposal to transform the current seating arrangement in the church. This change is driven by important health and safety concerns and the need for more versatile seating arrangements that better accommodate our growing congregation and future community activities.
We recognise and deeply appreciate the longstanding connections many Parishioners and their families have with our church — including those who generously donated pews in years past. These contributions have helped shape the character of Saint Benedict’s and remain an important part of our Parish heritage. As we undertake this transformation, we want to assure you that we are committed to honouring that legacy and working respectfully with families who donated pews as part of the process.
Our goal is to create a more welcoming, inclusive, and functional space that improves comfort, sightlines, and accessibility, while preserving the spirit and beauty of our beloved church. A copy of the presentation proposal and Public Notice is attached.
