ALL SOULS - A community event for anyone carrying memories in their heart
- Occurring
- for 3 hours
- Venue
- Saint Benedict's Parish Church, Blyth (North West)
- Address Brierley Road/Devonworth Place Cowpen Blyth, NE24 5AU, United Kingdom
The church will be open for quiet reflection this All Souls. You are warmly invited to come in, light a candle, and spend time remembering loved ones who have died. No expectations, no requirements — just a place to be.
As the church lights are dimmed and candles flicker, the peaceful atmosphere offers a gentle escape from the hectic world outside — a space to pause, reflect, and simply be.
This is a sacred time — a moment when the veil between worlds feels thinner. We walk with those who have journeyed on, praying for them as they continue to pray for us.
Whether you stay for a few minutes or linger longer, this is a space for peace, memory, and gentle stillness.
The evening will close at 8:45 PM with a short service of Compline — an ancient tradition of night prayer, offering peace and stillness before rest. Rooted in monastic life, Compline has been prayed for centuries as a way to gently end the day in quiet reflection.
All are welcome.
