Early Christmas Day Breakfast Communion at 8am

Occurring
for 30 mins
Venue
Church Cottage (Next door to St James' Church)
Address
Church Cottage (Next door to St James' Church), Riding Mill Northumberland, NE44 6AT, United Kingdom

Our regular early congregation will welcome people who want to share Communion to welcome the Christ-child on the 25th - on Christmas Day. So if you are an early riser (and many are on Christmas morning), or if you need to be back home to create a Christmas Dinner, or maybe you want a more reflective form of service (or for any reason, really) - simply turn up at the Church Cottage.

Lord Jesus, Light of light,
you have come among us.
Help us who live by your light
to shine as lights in your world.
Glory to God in the highest.
Amen.

St John

The beautiful church of St John, of the Parish of Healey, is open all day and every day for private prayer. Our visitor book tells us just how many people find that it is an ideal place to contemplate, restore, and commune with God. You are welcome here.

We have one formal service a month, at 5pm on the third Sunday. This may be Evening Prayer or Holy Communion: we use the words from the Church of England's Common Worship in modern language.

There are special services at Easter and Christmas - our Carol Service at 6pm on Christmas Eve is particularly beautiful, we think.
