About Us

We are a friendly church in the parish of North Shields. We have a small, but enthusiastic congregation and a beautiful building.

Safeguarding:

Safeguarding children and vulnerable adults is a priority at St Augustin's, our volunteers undergo safeguarding training and have current DBS certificates

We are committed to following government and Churches’ Child Protection Advisory Service (CCPAS) guidelines on safeguarding and good working practice, including safe recruitment of workers. Our formal safeguarding policy can be seen upon request from Revd. Daniel McCarthy  or Dorothy Edwards our Safeguarding Officer or if you have any concerns regarding the safety or welfare of a child or vulnerable adult you can speak to either Dan or Dorothy.
