Firstly, from Simon White
Save the date: An invitation to churches interested in learning more about the Pilgrimage Places initiative across the Diocese of Newcastle. Hexham Abbey, Thursday, 22 October 2026, 10am-1pm.

You may be on an existing pilgrimage route or walking trail; you may want to develop your own trails; or you may just want to find fresh ways to welcome visitors and local people. The morning at Hexham will give you the chance to hear about the Pilgrim Places resources, and reflect with lay and ordained colleagues around how different churches in a variety of contexts are developing their visitor welcome. Booking details to follow.

Secondly, from Penny Horseman
Amble Cafe Church would like to invite anyone interested in ecology to their next service. They are changing both venue and time, from October they will meet on the second Sunday of the month at The Helm, Queen Street, Amble at 3:30pm.

Welcome to St John the Divine Acklington. The church is open daily for individual prayer.

A range of services (formal and informal) are available in church, on-line and by telephone. Acklington is part of the benefice of Acklington, Shilbottle and Warkworth.
