Shrove Tuesday saw a big crowd of people of all ages coming along to church to enjoy pancakes. Our vicar, Rachael, worked hard, to freshly prepare each pancake. And very tasty they were too. Traditionally pancakes were a way of using up any rich foods that were not eaten during the season of Lent, which begins the following day, Ash Wednesday.
