Seahouses Hostel

“WELCOME TO SEAHOUSES HOSTEL…

Seahouses Hostel is located in the pretty coastal village of Seahouses in beautiful, rural North Northumberland and provides self-catering residential accommodation primarily to groups of children, young people and their leaders. We are within walking distance to the beach, picturesque coastal walks, tourist attractions and local amenities in the centre of the village.

Originally a girls’ school and the farm outbuildings of a former vicarage, Seahouses Hostel was converted to a hostel in 1989; an extensive renovation and new build was completed in early 2017 enabling guests to enjoy a spacious, bright, comfortable and relaxing stay with exclusive use of our facilities. In addition, there is a Hall adjacent to the Hostel which proves to be a useful space for guests to use for classroom, arts or craft activities, rehearsals, prayers or meetings; the Hall is also available to hire by community groups.

Standing beside St Paul’s Church at the edge of the village, we are a charity run by a Christian Foundation within the Diocese of Newcastle and very much welcome guests from a wide range of cultural backgrounds and faiths and those with interests in a variety of leisure activities and pursuits; we also welcome families and the independent traveller.
